IN-HOUSE
MONITORING SYSTEM:
Is a Windows compatible software program, written by San-I-Pak,
which enables remote monitoring of the San-I-Pak
equipment by either Environ-mental Services or Engineering management.
The software allows the manager to monitor current, real-time functioning
of the equipment and provides complete machine diagnostic capability.
Additionally, the manager can down load all historic cycle information
directly into the software's database. This information can then
be viewed two different ways. First, the information can be presented
to enable the manager to monitor his/her operators' efficiency levels.
How many cycles were run on a particular day, the length of the
cycles and the operators' ID are clearly shown. Secondly, the information
provides the manager with total machine performance. From this data,
main-tenance requirements can be scheduled prior to experiencing
any un-scheduled down time. The software enables the facility to
have on file, a synopsis of every cycle the machine runs during
its lifetime. This information can be printed as required. The software
requires an IBM compatible PC running Windows v3.1 or higher. See

INTEL-I-COM
SYSTEM:
San-I-Pak's revolutionary
new messaging system, anticipates the need for service,
repairs, consumables and other performance factors by constantly
analyzing equipment performance. Thereby averting un-scheduled
downtime. Intel-I-Com automatically reports on employee performance,
waste management efficacy, equipment performance change plus it
is able to notify hauler of full container needing to be picked
up. The system is remotely programmable to automatically respond
to endless custom designed conditions requested by the user and
may be tied into the monitoring of other hospital systems. This
system could simplify waste management by automatically transmitting
programmable messages to a fax or pager. This program comes with
a set of default messages to notify waste hauler for container
pickups, order support products, pre-failure diagnostics, as well
as other performance information. Messages can be added or changed
at the request of the facility. The applications for notification
or communication with this system are limitless.

AUTO-WEIGHING
SYSTEM:
San-I-Pak offers a Auto-Weighing
System for most equipment that facilitates waste auditing by programming
the equipment to weigh and departmentalize each load processed
allowing for reporting of wastes generated and processed by departments.
DEODORANT
SYSTEM PACKAGE:
Since your sterilizer is cooking various wastes at extremely high
temperatures some odor maybe present during the sterilization
process. The San-I-Pak system utilizes
small solenoid valve plumbed into your San-I-Pak
sterilizer chamber and associated plumbing connects a container
of San-I-Pak deodorant (San-Air).
San-I-Pak's Deodorant System
is designed to mask the odor generated by the waste during autoclaving.
The deodorizing system works in the following manner. Once the
vacuum has been pulled and the system has met computer-controlled
requirements, the deodorizer valve is opened allowing the "San-Air"
to be pulled into the chamber with the waste. Once the deodorant
is pulled into the chamber the steam cycle is initiated, heating
the waste and deodorant at the same time. The waste is processed
for the correct time, temperature and pressure parameters before
it is discharges. Processing the waste with the deodorizer system
allows the deodorant to permeate the waste.
OPEN
& PARTIALLY ENCLOSED CONVEYOR:
San-I-Pak designed conveyor system
to transport treated waste. The enclosed conveyor protects the
sterilizer waste form environmental elements (wind, rain) while
automatically depositing the waste into the compactor or shredder
hopper. The conveyor process is controlled by the PLC and is completely
automated. No employee is needed to over see the conveyor or shredding
process.
COLD
WEATHER PACKAGES:
San-I-Pak offers a Stage I and a
Stage II cold weather package with protection to 10 degrees.
CART
WASH ENCLOSURE:
San-I-Pak offers a Cart Wash Enclosure
along with a Heavy Duty Steam Wash Down Kit. The steam wand and
the enclosed cart wash area provides a safe, easy and speedy way
to thoroughly steam clean waste carts. The combination of heat
and forceful detergent action tears into stubborn soils, loosens
them fast and blasts them away with ease. The enclosed wash area
keeps loosened debris and hot steam from scattering around dock
or waste area. The drain has a large clean out tray for easy removal
and cleaning. The enclosure may be constructed in any size or
configuration to meet specific facility needs, such as: mounting
next to a existing or proposed dock or platform and may be configured
utilizing a scissor lift for access.
WASH
DOWN KITS:
San-I-Pak offers a 25ft and a 50ft
wash down kit. See sheet "Heavy Duty Steam Wash Down Kit".
FLOURESCENT
LIGHTING PACKAGES:
San-I-Pak offers lighting packages.
CARRY
& LOAD SCALES:
San-I-Pak systems can offer the ability
to weight each load sterilized or cart loaded into chamber.
AUTOMATIC
REMOTE HAULER NOTIFICATION:
San-I-Pak offers the ability of the
control system to notify the hauler of a full container and the
need to replace based on an established lead-time for hauler.
