San-I-Pak manufactures infectious waste treatment systems with processing capacities from 25 pounds (12 kgs.) to thousands of pounds of waste per hour. Our clients include healthcare facilities, laboratories, waste processing facilities, international airports, air catering kitchens, borders and ports of entry. All equipment is manufactured, assembled and thoroughly tested before leaving our factory floor where we monitor and ensure quality control. Bonus incentives are in place to reward our personnel for zero manufacturing defects. Our engineers design systems which accommodate each facility's specific site requirements. Although automated designs are our primary line, we have a basic philosophy: If It Sterilizes, We Build It!

Treatment Process Safeguards:

• Programmable Logic Controller: Each unit is equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC) which controls and coordinates all automated activities in the unit. The PLC is programmed to only discharge waste from the sterilization chamber when complete vacuum, pressure, time duration, and temperature parameters have been achieved, assuring proper sterilization with every cycle.
  
  
• Locking Sterilization Chambers: Once the waste has been loaded into the sterilization chamber and the sterilization cycle has been started, the door of the chamber will automatically lock. The door will remained locked until all sterilization parameters have been achieved.
  
  
• Strip Printers: The San-I-Pak strip printer prints the time, temperature, pressure, vacuum, and operators' identification number for each sterilization cycle. Any system interruption or operating irregularity will also be printed with the corresponding date and time.
