San-I-Pak maintains a full-time staff of factory-trained technicians. The Service Department is open 8am-5pm (Pacific Time) Monday through Friday and a Service Technician can be reached at (209) 836-2310 ext.110, seven days a week. After hours Service Technicians are on-call via paging voice mail and each Service Technician is issued a Full Nation Wide Pager and Digital Phone with radio capabilities.
Request for service during these periods will be immediately responded to using the telemetry capabilities of the San-I-Pak system to diagnose and correct problems via modem. For serious problems that can not be corrected via modem and require a technician for on-site repairs response time will be a maximum of 24 hours from notification. With notifications received after normal hours or on weekends response times will be a maximum of 24 hours from the morning of the following day. Note: 98% of all service can be completed via Intel-I-Com.
Remote Service Calls for Equipment Repairs
All San-I-Pak systems include a telemetry package, which allows the system to be monitored via modem from the factory. With this package and the assistance of our factory based service department, 98% of all service issues can be handled over the telephone. Telephone requests for service will be immediately responded to by use of the telemetry capabilities of the San-I-Pak system. The telemetry capabilities allow our service technicians to diagnose and correct most issues via electronics and remote video.
Service Parts & Supplies
San-I-Pak maintains several million dollars of parts and inventory for equipment. San-I-Pak will continuously supply replacement parts needed for the equipment. The system is designed so that worn parts can be replaced as needed for the life of the system. Replacement parts may be obtained locally and San-I-Pak maintains a replacement parts inventory of all parts unique to our system. We are currently supplying customers with parts for machines, which have been in service for 24 years. Response Time for Parts Shipments
Purchase Orders for parts or supplies received between the hours of 7am-3pm PST will ship out that same day using UPS (all services), FEDX & Common Carriers. UPS pickup is at 3:30pm Monday-Friday, FEDX has a drop box locally and the current last pickup time is 4:30pm Monday-Saturday, Common Carriers will pickup as late as 5pm Monday-Friday and orders received after those pickup times will ship the next day. Normal Ground Delivery would be 7-14 days, Express shipping using UPS or FEDX will take 2-3 days.
